Overheard.

Just a quick post. I was in my office the other day, just chilling. You know, just writing an essay and what not, when I overheard a truly amusing statement. Two teachers were discussing the results of their PoLTs reviews (a bi-annual performance review conducted by the school), when one of them declared, 'My ICT is low. I'll just chuck them in the computer rooms and that'll be right.'. I could not help but wonder about how this 'solved the problem'. Is it enough to just 'chuck' the kids into a computer room? Is this a true exploration of the capabilities of ICT within an educational setting? Personally, I think such an attitude is wanting in creativity and ambition...

Thoughts, objections and random observations welcome. :)
